PROFILE AND FUTURE BUSINESS GOALS:
I started Adam Fields' Wakeboard School in the spring of 1998. The business has grown each
year, is full-time, year-round at Lake Gaston NC/VA, the Mid-Atlantic region and Orlando, FL,
and our team of coaches and I will hopefully reach at least 2000 adults and kids next season
promoting the sports of wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and wakeskating. Adam Fields' Wakeboard
School will host a Rail Jam and WakeSurf event, sell wakeboarding and wakesurfing products,
and I will compete in 10+ professional wakeboarding competitions all over the country.
Locally to create exposure, I will be at lakes in NC, SC, VA, and TN doing private and public
wakeboarding and wakesurfing clinics, private lessons, board demos with families and/or friends
and exhibiting, or competing at various events, boat shows, and trade shows. I will be in
regional newspapers as a rider and photographed in Wakeboarding Magazine and Alliance
Wake Magazine. I will be on regional and national discussion boards regarding
wakeboarding and boating. I will be interviewed by both local and national news
networks regarding wakeboarding competition and my Wakeboarding School including possibly
ABC News, FOX news, Fuel TV, and OLN. I will be featured as a rider in numerous
Wakeboarding Videos, Films, and Promotional Advertisements for various events and
companies.
CONTEST ATTENDANCE:
2007- Board-Up Miami-4th place Pro Men, Transition Watersports-1st Pro Men
2006-1st Place Finishes at 8 Pro events, including Series Winner of Carolina Wake Series
-Judging and/or Boat Driving at 11 Pro Events, performing exhibitions at 3 more
2001 thru 2005--25+ First Place finishes in all Mid-Atlantic events plus attendance at national
competitive and promotional events all over the country
